The MasterPacT MTZ circuit breaker is the latest generation of high current air circuit breakers with Micrologic Active. The MasterPacT MTZ2 16H1 is a fixed type 4-pole circuit breaker. The rated current is 1600A. The breaking capacity (Icu) is 66kA rms at 440VAC 50/60Hz. This circuit breaker is equipped with the MicroLogic 2.0E Active control unit. The MasterPacT MTZ Active combines real-time information with ease of use, enabling rapid reduction of interruption events. The MasterPacT MTZ Active has been designed to achieve new levels of uptime and agility. The MicroLogic 2.0E Active is a LI protection type control unit offering 2 basic protection functions and some advanced protections. The basic protections are long-term protection against overloads (L) and instantaneous protection against short-circuits (I). In addition to energy and power, the MicroLogic 2.0E Active also measures the true rms values ​​of currents. Diagnostic features are designed to limit the risk of power outages and to ensure the installation is back online as quickly as possible after a trip. MicroLogic Active provides alarms and messages to assist the user in planning both preventive and predictive maintenance as well as device replacement. MicroLogic Active features an ergonomic HMI with colour backlighting, status LEDs and a user-friendly navigation interface. MicroLogic 2.0E Active controllers incorporate wired communications including Ethernet and Modbus SL. MicroLogic Active is equipped with NFC connectivity for remote access via smartphone and the EcoStruxure Power Device app. This circuit breaker has horizontal power connections on the top and bottom. This circuit breaker is manually operated. Its dimensions are 537mm (W) x 352mm (H) x 300mm (D) and it weighs approximately 65kg. MasterPacT MTZ Active complies with international standards IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60947-2. MasterPacT MTZ Active circuit breakers are part of the Active Panel solution made possible by Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Power architecture. Green packaging eliminates single-use plastics and features 100% recycled and recyclable paperboard. Transformer efficiency data helps determine actions to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
