Description
- The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact.
- The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor.
- Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected.
- This general purpose threaded cylindrical (M18) inductive proximity sensor is made of metal and it is flush mountable.
- Its nominal sensing distance is 15mm, it supports 1 normally open 2-wire discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 25Hz (AC voltage) / 1000Hz (DC voltage).
- It works in a temperature range of -25°C and +70°C, it is dustproof and waterproof (IP68).
- It is made of metal.
- It measures 61.4mm (length) x 18mm (diameter) and weighs 0.12kg.
- IP65 and IP68 protection makes this product ready for the harshest environments.
