- The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection of metal objects up to 60mm without physical contact.
- The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor.
- Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected.
- This general purpose threaded cylindrical (M18) inductive proximity sensor is made of metal and it is flush mountable.
- Its nominal sensing distance is 8mm, it supports 1 normally open NPN discrete output and it has a switching frequency of 1000Hz.
- It works in a temperature range of -25°C and +70°C, it is dustproof, waterproof (IP67), and withstands high pressure and steam cleaning (IP69K).
- It is made of metal.
- It measures 73.2mm (length) x 18mm (diameter) and weighs 0.04kg.
- IP65, IP67 and IP69K protection makes this product ready for the harshest environments.
- It is suitable for railway, mobile equipment, lifts and escalators, hoisting, material handling, machine tools, packaging, food and beverage industries, and robotics.
- This sensor is certified UL, CSA, and E2.
